This has advantages over a 43" TV are the anti-glare, matte coating, built-in USB hub, USB-C input and Power delivery, and PIP support. The colors and brightness are decent, and the IPS panel allows you to sit close without off-axis degradation.
With that said, the HDR performance is garbage, so don't expect to be wowed by PQ. This is more for productivity than media consumption. If that is important, get a TV for way cheaper or the Samsung 43" monitor with a VA panel and built-in smart apps like Netflix.
I am able to connect 4 laptops all split great or connect one Xbox while on teams/zoom meeting
I recommend this for work use

You would have to be under 2 feet away to even see most pixels under a 30° arc in contrast from each other on a standard rgb 8-bit 4:4:4 setting at 43"

Cons:
- BGR subpixel layout, not RGB. Apparently both the 43" LG and Dell have this issue. Who decided to make the monitor this way and why? Makes the text seem a bit fuzzy. But you get used to it. It does help the DPI is on the higher side at 103. Somewhat mitigates the issue.
- Packaging is flimsy. First unit I received the screen was completely busted. Had to get a replacement. This seems to be a common issue.
- I have two of these monitors. One has a buzz when connected via USB-C. For that monitor, I have to use my own proprietary charger for the laptop. The other monitor is fine, no buzz.
- LG on-screen controls. No idea why there's such a big border around the application, when using this control. You can see the background since the quadrant isn't fully used for the application. Annoying. I don't use the app most of the time and just snap windows to the quadrants via the OS's layout functionality.
Pros:
- Built-in hub 65W PD via USB-C. Even if you have a laptop with 100+ W, as long as your CPU isn't constantly going full-tilt, it should keep your battery topped off.
- Good ergonomics. Not too much looking up/down/left/right to take in the entire screen. Prior to this monitor, I used two, 34" ultrawides, which gave me neck issues. Way too much horizontal to cover with this configuration.
Also, for the 700T-B model, with those corner leg stands, I recommend you replace those and get a real monitor stand (VESA 100, I think). The extra few inches of height helped to center the monitor for a better ergonomic experience.
Bottom line, even with all the nitpicking, productivity is great with this monitor. Recommended.
