I may not bite only because I'm not sure I want some Franzia box of 6 gallons oil in my garage open and leaking and it would take me a few years to get through it. I have been jumping on those Pennzoil 25 dollar rebate thingys where the price gets similar and I have a couple discreet 5 quart jugs to put on the shelf
In their defense, Toyota has made some junkers also.
that 2.4 4 cylinder they put in Camrys and the Scion line is well known to burn oil like a tanker. In fact, I have an example sitting right out on the street. My Scion XB work vehicle (100,000) burns 1 quart every 1000 miles. I also know others using the same Toyota engine, also burn tons of oil.

3.2. MIXTURE:
NAME PRODUCT IDENTIFIER % (W/W) CLASSIFICATION (GHS-US)
PETROLEUM (CAS NO): 64742-65-0 75.75 - 95, NOT CLASSIFIED
DISTILLATES, 64 - 85
SOLVENT DEWAXED
HEAVY PARAFFINIC, (CAS NO): 64742-54-7 0 - 11, NOT CLASSIFIED
DISTILLATES, 10 - 17
PETROLEUM,
HYDROTREATED
HEAVY PARAFFINIC
Is solvent dewaxed the synthetic portion? From the numbers it looks like maybe 64-85 synthetics, and 10-17 non-synthetic, if I am reading it right. LOL.
I agree, but savings do not matter much if you're not going to use that much oil let alone store it long enough to use.
If you do 1 or 2 oil changes a year wait for a rebate. If you do 5-10 then a deal like this is super hot.
