I also got a cancellation notice. I put in another order for the same item (0W20) and will wait for the January 2023 delivery date. I can wait.

Both cancelled and reordered. Today I get an email with guess what? Yep - same DuraMAX listings with MUCH different pricing.

Both cancelled, after Grainger had assured me they would be shipped in January, but only after I aggressively inquired whether they ever intended on saying anything to anyone about it. Now they say it's "discontinued," even though it's clearly still available on the site for 10x the price. fark Grainger

Full synthetic order canceled at $45.80 price because it's "discontinued" ... but it's available now for only $289.29 or $299.54

I'm glad they canceled my order. Got 2x 6 quarts of Pennzoil synthetic from Walmart.com for $2 per quart after rebate.

Sounds like I need to fill out the complaint form with my State Attorney General and get them thrown out of my state for "bait and switch" tactics. In my state the SAG takes complaints that are documented in detail seriously.

I know but this was one of those too good to be true things. 6 gallons of oil weighs 45 to 50 pounds or something and this would have been a large box. How are they gonna ship that while selling it for 40 bucks total. Just a dumb pricing mistake that was sitting out there for a long time on a strange product that would have never gotten discovered were it not for Slickdeals. None of us are sitting around looking at freakin Grainger catalog for this stuff normally

Shipping, my offer said I had to drive to the Grainger location which is 100 miles. I called before I placed the order to make sure it would be possible since I do not have a personal business account. They said to place the order and that they would email me when it was ready to pickup. Almost like they showed intent to honor the advertised price and terms.

They probably did because their website is just a passthrough from a bunch of other suppliers. They aren't putting thought into what is realistic or stupid. So then they had to wait and figure out that the supplier is like oh crap, wait, I cant ship this product all over for this price. I think both Grainger and Duromax are at fault here.
