If you have a dishwasher, that works perfect.

I have a beagle that swallows his food whole, no chewing. This slows him down just to the point that he isn't swallowing whole mouthfuls at once. Still only takes him a couple of minutes to eat a cup of food though. Little jerk 🤣
Edited to add that these clean up beautifully in the dishwasher.
What size do you think works best for cats?
I think this probably answers my question, then, which was going to be:
"Is this hard plastic, or softer rubberized material?"
We bought two of the slow feeders from PetSmart with softer rubberized material (and an integrated metal water dish), and now wish we'd bought five or six of them.
Hey have to work harder for food in the hard plastic ones that everybody seems to sell now, and those seem more likely to get pushed around all over the floor.
And yes, several of our friend's pets have lost/cracked teeth on the hard plastic slow feeders.
