My m12 stubby can't even break a lug nut or a caliper bolt, that is why I got it for… I'm pretty disappointed , now it's just sitting collecting dust on the shelve … the m18 , I'm sure it's just a bit more powerful but not worth it
Wow! Which car is this? Caliper bolts torque is not high like suspension parts so I would guess the bolts had corrosion/rust/car sitting for years or someone used impact wrench to tighten. A little penetrating lubricant may help.

You can the tool from offerup for $100 and the battery for $50 from several people selling part of the bundles they got from home depot and other places.

I grabbed a high torque with 3 5A battery for 290 beginning of the month, the way to go
Wait, I thought that deal was $290 for the kit ( 1/2 in impact, charger, case and TWO batteries). You returned the 3rd battery, correct?

I used the m12 on my 2015 civic and I live in California were Rust don't exists. Anyways, I'm pretty anal about torquing all my suspensions and brake parts to spec. Like I said , it's not worth it .. it's just all hype
Just did a quick google for your car and the first few results people say 80ftlbs and some say 120… whatever.

So you mean to tell me a 250 rating is not enough. I'm going to have to call you out because I just recently torqued an axle nut to 215 but had to replace the nut so had to remove it. I used a stubby m12 (also 250 rating) with a 4ah battery and it was able to remove it.

Bro I am willing to bet eating my balls if you do the same. I'll come over and remove your caliper bolts with my m12 stubby.

I'm confused, deal says it comes with battery but then it also says this in description. The M18 REDLITHIUM battery pack (not included) fits M18 tools, delivering more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack.
I ordered one just now, it said battery is included.

You sure you were using the stubby impact and not one of the M12 impact drivers? Or maybe using the smaller M12 CP batteries? I have the 1/2" stubby and it took my 150 ft-lb lug nuts off my F150 with no issues with a 4.0 XC battery on it.

I was able to buy these individually for a little less on eBay. $120 for the impact wrench, and $62 for the battery, both new in the box.
