Make sure to delete the "free" Webroot/Mcafee junk software from your cart before completing the purchase if you want to be able to return this thing. Otherwise, Best Buy will dock you $30 for it.

Ram Not expandable. RAM is soldered. HD is ok, but definitely would benefit from having either an external HD or a 128gb jump drive. Video editing? False. No way to increase even the power on the laptop because of its hardware. Tried 4 video editing and even photoshop. Lags forever before crashing because of being stuck loading. Only good for word, youtube browsing. FYI discord was running at 100% cpu LOL. And chrome........ should I really say this?.

Was new FP from Walmart (though with only 64GB of storage) for $169 in June. Here are some of the comments if you want to look through them. https://slickdeals.net/f/15828619-samsung-galaxy-book-go-14-fhd-snapdragon-7c-gen-2-4gb-ddr4-64gb-eufs-win-11-169

It's a GREAT price, but from what I can gather, expect to use it the same way as a Chromebook.

I remember Samsung were actually giving away these laptops for free as a bonus when making a purchase for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite tablet SALE a few weeks ago. I was surprised considering that this laptop had a pretty high retail price. I didn't buy the tablet with a free laptop because I already have 2 PC laptops and a Lenovo Duet chromebook tablet.

Is there any way you can transfer the screen to an external monitor?

In theory...A USB 3.1 or USB C adapter should allow you to connect to an external monitor. Though I am not 100% sure on this specific model.

Sweeten the deal with Chase 20% or 10% offer.
Where do you see this offer? I am only seeing on Freedom, just 1 pt/$1 spent (100 point translate to $1), and ultimate has none. Am I missing something?

KB not backlit. I realize it's a low price. But that doesn't help you if you use backlit often enough. Like maybe a college student might?

Not sure how locked up this is, but I'd want to install ChromeOS on it rather than have a neutered Win 11 for Qualcomm. Probably too much trouble..

Anyone see the difference between a QLED and an OLED screen? The only sweet point of this laptop is the LED screen, everything else is wrong.

Non upgradeable anything.

Win 11 is the ARM flavor. Not the full x86 version. Plenty of useful programs will not run on it.

Linux support seems near non existent. Several distros would run in 4GB of ram pretty well if you could get this notebook running Linux.

Seems like a decent price for the hardware, but realistically what are you going to do with it in the long run? Suppose it could show recipes in the kitchen or replace manuals in the garage. Maybe some low intensity web browsing.

Basically treat this as a tablet with a keyboard…not an actual notebook.

What do you mean by low intensity web browsing? What is an example of high intensity web browsing?
