Anything about Metabo/Hitachi releasing a 36v version of this saw?

Great price although not a sliding model. At least it is 12".

Picked up the siding version at Lowe's on clearance for $150 and have been very happy with it. Great miter. A lot of woodworkers seem to prefer the Metabos whereas contractors prefer the DeWalts (based on their different strengths/weaknesses).

Is it the 10" sliding dual bevel? I got that one too.

Great saw for the money. Also has the led cut line as opposed to a laser which is much preferred. If you don't need a slider (which most don't) then snatch this up.

Although a 12 inch miter may make it less need for a slider, a 10 inch slider may be more useful than a 12 inch non slider. Most people don't even need a miter saw anyway.

I got one of those too! I think I scooped mine up for around $160. That deal was like a sore dick. Ya just couldn't beat it!

I got the sliding when it was $169 @ Lowes a while back but I can tell you it is better built and cuts way smother than my Dewalt miter saw. It literally cuts like butter. I was amazed the first time I used it.
