Nice price. Yes the final season has a lot of issues, but 80% of this show is probably the best show of the last 10 years.

I still put Lost as worst ever. I almost threw my remote at the TV for slogging through all of that for the pile of crap they thought was a series finale. At least GoT was a great ride for 6 seasons. Lost was pretty much drivel after season 2 but we all kept watching to find out real answers about the island... that never came.

Seems like a solid price. Does this also come with digital or is it just physical media?

It's not tied to MoviesAnywhere, VUDU or GooglePlay. You have to register the digital copy through HBOdigital's website. After that, I don't know if you can link it to your platform of choice.

oh, it's usually discussed in the target b2g1 deal threads when they come around, but basically if you just want something at 33% off, buy three of them (or two other items that cost the same), then immediately go back into the order and cancel the two you don't want; and the pro-rated discounted price will remain the same (but the tax won't update until it ships, although i've been too lazy to verify this myself), so, net 1/3 off.

it's been rumored that this should be done sparingly to avoid target catching on and changing how it works, but others have pointed out that target most likely knows about this already, and if they really wanted to prevent this from happening, would have already changed it. me, i try to split the difference and only do it occasionally, for more expensive items like this where i wouldn't be able to find two other items at that price that i'd actually want to buy. but anyway, 33% frankly is a pretty good deal in and of itself, and basically no other retailer does it (other than amazon, with a far more limited selection, and no cancellation trick). hope this helps!

Hopefully iTunes will update with the 4K releases since I already purchased the complete series in HD. I know for movies if you buy it in HD and the 4K comes out they'll usually automatically upgrade you. Hopefully that holds true for TV shows too.

I recall there being multiple disc playability concerns. Does anyone know if this has been addressed? I doubt I would watch the entire series within the 30 day return period...

Lots of 1 star reviews mention this. That's enough for me to take a pass on this deal.

I can't imagine they're selling many of these. Season 8 was the most disappointing TV I've ever watched. First 4 seasons are great, though. Just stop there and pretend it got canceled or something. It'll be less frustrating than actually watching the rest of the series.
