    I know. In my wine bar, I plugged these in using an extension cord that I tucked into a cabinet, and plugged into an outlet at ground-level nearby.

    In the bathroom I plugged them into an outlet near the counter top, and ran them down one side of the cabinet and underneath the rest of the vanity.

    It was a bit complicated. I don't own aqara hub, but SmartThings. I had to add custom handlers to add aqara sensors. Once added into SmartThings, it was automatically added to Alexa. I have Alexa routine that when motion is detected downstairs (motion sensor under countertop), turn on lights in kitchen and on stairs. Turn off after 1 minute of inactivity. For motion sensor upstairs, it turns on stairs only.

    I guess that works. I limited myself to solutions that I perceived as cleaner look but I might reconsider running extension cord.
