There are multiple models on sale and some for even more of a discount. The RadRover 6 Plus is $400 off.

There is NOTHING better than going out on your electric bike to run errands, enjoy the day, go to the park or just go out on the bike trail with no cares. Get a rear rack and a milk crate (larger the better, carry more crap and groceries), a large bottle holder (i go to wendys and put a large soda in it) and ofcourse a bluetooth speaker.

And to all those that think that you can't exercise on an electric bike... that is very laughable. People do not realize that there are different levels of pedal assist, and even if you use a high level of pedal assist you are still getting a work out. Is it equal to a regular bike, ofcourse not, but a lot of people who are buying electric bikes are over 30 or 40, most likely 50 or 60+ and have various health problems like myself. I suffered 5 years of chronic and very severe lower and upper back problems along with knee problems. I couldn't run, jog, or even do pilates without pain, but riding a bike relieves and helped me so much with fitness and mental health. Now i ride 2 hours a day minimum, no matter the weather (Only ice on the road/trails and heavy snow can stop me).

I recently got the Kepler. My first e-bike. Has been a pretty cool experience so far. Rads have a good reputation as well. Whatever bike you choose, it def is a good alternative for short-distance transport.

How come they don't put how fast the bike can go on the specs?

It is a class 2 ebike which means the motor can help you up to 20 MPH throttle only or PAS. To increase that to 24Mph, the easiest way is to buy an LCD upgrade (currently on sale for $69) and do it in the setting.

Got this in June 2021 for 999. I use it only for recreational purpose. No complaints.

I still don't understand how people are sold on riding bikes to work in northern climates were 6 months out of the year it's cold and wet.
I guess it's cheaper than the masses asking for better mass transportation 🤦
6 months? Where Alaska?

I have a RadMini but I've taken one of these for a test ride and they are a hoot to cruise around the city in. They're on the lighter side for a budget 500W ebike and are way more nimble than your typical fat tire ebike. However, this is a single speed so if there are steep hills, you may want to look elsewhere. For slight to moderate hills, the motor should be able to power you up just fine.

Add a rear cargo rack, a pannier bag/side basket and this is a great commuter option. Single speed sounds limiting but it keeps the ride and maintenance simple.
