It is a class 2 ebike which means the motor can help you up to 20 MPH throttle only or PAS. To increase that to 24Mph, the easiest way is to buy an LCD upgrade (currently on sale for $69) and do it in the setting.
I have this bike with the display upgrade so for those wondering, the motor can't power the bike to the maximum unlocked speed of 40kmh (~24.85mph). The upgrade just ensures the throttle/assist doesn't cut out earlier than 40kmh.

I've gotten up to 40mph on large down hills. I really wouldn't recommend faster than 30-35mph though, it starts to become unstable and wrecks at that speed are incredibly dangerous.

With the brakes it comes with, don't expect to stop quickly at those speeds either. You'll also want someone to adjust them because they're awful from the factory.

I still don't understand how people are sold on riding bikes to work in northern climates were 6 months out of the year it's cold and wet.
I guess it's cheaper than the masses asking for better mass transportation 🤦
Because we enjoy our summers?

For those not familiar, a folding eBike can be best for commuting. They'll fit folded in the back of an SUV or Hatchback.

For example- Commute to work on eBike, wife can pick me up in Ford Escape if it's pouring rain.

No need for a expensive after market bike rack.
