Seems like HSN has the Moto G Pure bundle on sale again for $40 (60 - $20 with HSN2022 new customer coupon). Similar to most of the Tracfone bundle, it comes with the phone and 1500 min/text/data annual plan and some accessories. The Moto G Pure is not really that good of a phone, but then the whole bundle only costs $40, and I don't think there is a cheaper bundle that comes with a smartphone at this time.
Note: Phone is locked to Tracfone for 2 months. After 2 months, you can request the unlocked code for the phone either through chat or using their unlock portal online.
Edit: Just want to be perfectly honest. Personally, I think this bundle is ok if you are only keeping the phone as a backup or using it for emergency or if you are only using the phone purely to make call/text. For daily drive, it is better to spend $20 more to get the Moto G Power 2022 bundle

If you live in a Verizon Coverage area: If you live in an area where Verizon has coverage, as apart of the Verizon buyout of tracfone, your tracfone brand will force migrate you to your tracfone brand's Verizon based service.
If you live in a non Verizon coverage area: Within the next 2 years AT&T and T-Mobile service through every Tracfone brand is being discontinued. When this happens you will need to find and switch to a new Non-Tracfone owned provider to continue AT&T/T-Mobile Service.

I have used this for a year. The camera is a little mediocre but honestly it does everything I need to. It's fine.

I bought the Moto G Power plus I had another Tracfone that I bought more than a year ago on HSN via a similar deal but never took out of the box. I wasn't even sure if it would activate properly and still include all the data and time.
Turned out to be no problem. I was 34th in the Chat queue. That went somewhat quicker than expected. The entire process dragged out nearly 45 minutes but was well worth it. This was on August 30. She wasn't overly warm with very few words but methodically proceeded through every step once I explained the situation. I now have 3 lines and Pending bonus points. It was actually to my advantage to wait so long to activate the older phone. I realize I didn't necessarily have to activate, instead or merely adding the new lines, but I didn't want any hassles.

No its not too late. The process is to activate the line of service first then sign up for the rewards program. If you use a top tier referral you can get the 8,000 point bonus. You can sign up for rewards up to 14 days after activation of your initial line of service

I have this moto g pure on the way to me. I will be porting from Tello.
In July my spouse created an account on Tracfone and she and my son (who refereed her) each got $5K points. I was thinking it would be more convenient to add the line to her account, rather than her referring me and us each getting 5K points. I assume if we add a line, the 10,000 points, plus her existing/pending 5000 points+ can be used for either line?
Also for porting from Tello, I think the names should match? From the way tracfone describes this, the new line can have a different name associated with it, is that correct?
After I get my phone back I want to put the sim from this tracfone in my repaired phone.
I read that tracfone now will just shut down your service if you switch sims.
So do I have to get a brand new sim and then ask customer service to transfer it?

If your wife's account refers a new account, she will get 6K for her second referral. But note that Tracfone does not allow self-referrals, though one person referring a spouse does not seem to fall within that category. All Tracfone points can be redeemed for any Tracfone line, even lines that are on different accounts.
