Seems like HSN has the Moto G Pure bundle on sale again for $40 (60 - $20 with HSN2022 new customer coupon). Similar to most of the Tracfone bundle, it comes with the phone and 1500 min/text/data annual plan and some accessories. The Moto G Pure is not really that good of a phone, but then the whole bundle only costs $40, and I don't think there is a cheaper bundle that comes with a smartphone at this time.

Note: Phone is locked to Tracfone for 2 months. After 2 months, you can request the unlocked code for the phone either through chat or using their unlock portal online.

Edit: Just want to be perfectly honest. Personally, I think this bundle is ok if you are only keeping the phone as a backup or using it for emergency or if you are only using the phone purely to make call/text. For daily drive, it is better to spend $20 more to get the Moto G Power 2022 bundle

When I unsubscribed, I seem to remember the website saying that it could take awhile for the emails to stop (a week or two?).

They do eventually stop. Or at least they did for the few accounts I had/have.

1. Do I just swap sim cards from old phones?
2. Do they get to keep the same numbers?

2. Yes.

Do your kids have separate accounts or both phones in one account? If you purchase 2 and you have 61+ days left on the current service. you could add lines to existing account for 10,000 bonus points each (good for more service or phone discount code) and combine service later. If you don't care about points, you could activate the new phones with 'Keep your number' and the bundled service will be added to the current lines. See my post.

They have separate accounts.

just chiming in - got my g pure a week ago, battery kept going a week on standby, i removed or disabled most crapware, then finally activated it today, random phone number i got was OK (they let you pick a diff phone zip than your billing zip), tested voice in/out, data, text, sms confirm, was able to share family app library with my old phone (only about half my apps were included), enrolled in points and got 8,000 banked from a referral code. so no hiccups or need to call/text support. by thanksgiving i'll unlock the phone and test it with my at&t mvno's sim just to make sure it is truly unlocked.

i bought this cover in case anyone's looking for ideas;

Guess you were lucky then. Now the unsubscribe buttons in email or account center simply bring up a white page showing these characters: "We'll be right back! WATCH HSN TV" . Have chat online with CSR twice, been told there is IT issue. 2 weeks passed already.
Simply don't expect much from the junky merchant.

When you activated were minutes and data automatic or did you need to use separate card?
When I activated and got my phone # the recording said I would need to buy a plan in a few days to keep phone activated.
I didn't see a minutes and data card in my box (just SIM and IMEI #)

I saw the option in app and tried several steps, but didn't confirm the transfer from APP. However I did it through web Account page, refill your plan --- I want to buy a plan ---- enter the number want to refill (your friend's number) ---- next---lots options ---- add to cart, and check out with reward points. The plan will show on your friend's number and rewards points will deduct right away from your account. Hope it helps.
