I've had the Klipsch R-625FA in a 7.1 setup for 6 years. They're a nice compromise at only 40x16x8 inches including the height channels. I use them with a similar version of the R-12SW that pairs well with atmos soundtracks. With a little experimenting in the room placement, you can get good 7.1 channel performance. You'll want to rewatch all the Marvel movies again!

similar version of the R-12SW? as in, not the R-12SW?
been very curious about going for a separate speaker 7.1 setup recently. the only hesitancy is the wires in an otherwise clean and minimalist living room setup.

There is a wireless version of the R-12sw. The wireless kit is included with the speaker. I have 5 of the R-12sw subs. Set to LFE through a Onkyo RZ50. 4 are for the Home Theatre setup and the 5th one pulls duty with a pair of RP600m for a pc setup. There a few generations old but when you can grab open box ones from Adorama for little more than $100.00 at times it's a real bargain. I have the r26fa but use them as rears because u have RP8000F as fronts. If I didn't have the bigger ones these would be just fine for movies. Even though they are the entry level reference series they still sound decent.

I use a Rocketfish wireless transmitter/receiver kit for my rear speakers in a 5.1 setup. Works great, no wires from front to back
I bought the RP-600M II (surround speakers) deal posted a few days ago and they accidentally sent the R-12SW, which is a 12-inch subwoofer. My current sub is a cheapo 10 inch so I figured I'd try hooking up the R-12SW for a minute to see the difference, and my cheapo 10 inch Kenwood sounded MUCH better. That makes me question the quality of everything in this bundle.
