I've found that this thing has the perfect amount of torque for doing lighter tasks like I mentioned on the Ikea furniture. It tightened everything up nicely but not to tight to cause damage. I'm extremely happy with my purchase at even $36. The only similar driver I'd pick over this one is if I had Milwaukee tools instead of Ridgid, I would get the Milwaukee cordless screwdriver.

BTW, a hand screw driver is the best of the weak. Cheap and very practical. Always should have a few hand screwdriver around.
Powered screwdrivers are for power and speed. No point of going "weak" on that one.

I have had this type of screwdriver for over 10 years and the old one finally wore out and I bought this Skil 4v. It works like we need it to work and is a must have in our tool bag!. My Wife and I put together a lot of cabinets and other screwdriver jobs and a regular screwdriver can be cumbersome. The current detector comes in handy, also. The light has become essential. .
