Hoping they will start selling the new Kuat Piston SR carrier.
I doubt it will be included in these sales any time soon if at all though.

Nice, but way too expensive, I'm looking at the 1up USA mount.

the siesta sleeping bag seems like a steal at this price and that's not using the outlet coupon. the double is 75% off too.

I bought..... too much. Especially considering the Labor22 coupon only works on ONE outlet item, and it's one coupon per customer. Still, some great deals here. And unlike other stores, REI accepts returns of clearance items, even clothes. Too many retailers have "final sale" non returnable products but not REI

Is there a list of excluded brands? Trying to checkout for a pair of Tivosi glasses and receiving "LABOR22: Your cart doesn't contain at least 1 qualifying coupon item."

EDIT: Nevermind, they were on sale, not an outlet item.

Idk why this is downvoted.. I always thought REI was insanely overpriced. Just checked out the deals... first item is a personal towel for just under $50... I can get many towels for $50... elsewhere. 🤦🤷
Ah yes, labeling an entire company as "overpriced" based on one item. Very helpful comment, thanks for contributing!

There is some shady price adjustments on the outlet side. Looking at shoes, they have the same pair of shoes on both the normal store and outlet store. Same exact pair and color. The outlet store price is $15 higher than the regular store price. 20% discount only ends up being $8 on a pair of $105 shoes.

Women's Vasque - Satoru Trail LT - Sparrow color.

I was going to get Thule's Upride since I like that style.
Not greatest reviews a little bulky looking .
It is $260 on sale, I figure $200 more and not as bulky and its tech pretty cool(same as Piston carrier) and Kuat makes very quality products.
I don't buy this often either.
I hope they start selling it soon, bike stores in the area already do.

REI has lots and lots top tier / boutique or even "luxury" level clothing/camping and whatever else items.

It is not a "cheap" store, it is a store where you can get expensive sh!t for cheaper during their sales and/or their outlet.

The fact that you can get similar crap elsewere for cheaper, is reduntand, yet repeated in every REI thread ever.

Damn, I paid like $75 for the same sleeping bag the last time it was on sale (which is quite often). That is a steal at $32. Not sure I can price match this and driving to the nearest store for a return will cost me gas $$.

They seem to have really clamped down on the 20% coupon this time. A few products I've tried, that would have previously been eligible, it's saying it's not valid on.

I beg to differ. I've saved a ton of money buying through REI; just have to be keen on what to buy and when to buy. Not to mention that their ongoing gear garage can have extremely good deals as well. To be a Slickdealer is to strike when the iron is hot, and if you blanket statement REI not having good prices: you're not looking hard enough and you're missing out. ✌️
REI also has a no questions asked return policy; it's even easier and more seamless than Costco's (which is already a really good return experience in itself).
