For those interested in Bioshock, I'm going to repost a comment/warning I've posted here once before to save whoever is interested in this release some potential future frustration:
Make sure to keep two consecutive save files, the collections have a bug where it has the potential to crash your game while saving and corrupt your save file.
I lost about 5 hours of gameplay to this bug on Switch, which was particularly frustrating as I was playing it on the highest difficulty.
Admittedly the bug seems to be somewhat rare, as apparently it also exists on the ps4 version, which I platinumd without encountering it, but man was I angry when it happened on Switch, going from completely having researched the little sisters/rosies/leadheads/nitros/spiders (on survival difficulty, which eats through resources and requires tons of saving/reloading/scroungingnhitandruntactics, to being forced back to the auto save where I didn't even have the camera and had just entered the level was infuriating, to the point I wished I hadn't even bought it for the 10 bucks I paid for it.
This bug apparently existed on the original pc version which the collection was ported from, and was never fixed in the collection. Imo, unacceptable and inexcusable from 2k, among other things.
bioshock collection is a steal at $10. if you haven't played it then now is the time
I just got the whole thing free on PC from Amazon or epic or whoever recently but kind of really want this for switch to make it more accessible to my kid…

I don't even know how many times I've gotten those games free and also purchased them for various consoles over the years, always worth it. Though after playing it on PC with the modernized control mod, I don't know if I can go back. Probably will go back though. Haven't purchased it on switch yet lol

Great games. But I have to talk myself out of getting ones I've already played and finished since I have a huge backlog of games I haven't even opened.

Is it the same as the xbox 360 version or is it improved? How does it run on Switch?
Pretty similar. Cleaned up a little bit and slightly higher resolution. I don't think it's 60 fps tho. On ps4/Xbox it's 60. It's a solid port though. Same as borderlands
