Not at all. Peacock has the Motorsports (other than F1) locked down. Then you have movies straight out of the theater (Black Phone, Northman, Bad Guys) and the Bravo catalogue. Peacock is excellent, especially at $20 for an entire year.

Peacock is great if you follow the Premier League. Also you will be able to stream the World Cup in Spanish this year via Peacock Premium. Well worth it at $20 imo.

Peacock had probably been the worst new major streamer for me. Like 99% of the library is older than hell shows. Commercials on the adfree option, too, so paying for premium isn't worth it.

You sub to peacock for the sports, not the movies or shows. Will gladly pay $20 so I can watch world cup with my Dad.

Jurassic World: Dominion [peacocktv.com] is coming to Peacock TV on Sept 2nd.

They have some other recent movies [peacocktv.com] like The Black Phone, The Northman, The Bad Guys & More.

Oh yeah, there's a show called The Resort [peacocktv.com] that has been interesting so far. Mystery/dark comedy.
The Resort was filmed near me

Give some of their original shows a chance. I really enjoyed We Are Lady Parts, Rutherford Falls, Killing It, and Girls 5 Eva. They also gave AP Bio an extra couple of seasons. Is that worth subscribing all the time? No. But I would gladly pay for it a couple of months a year for those shows.

Paying to watch ads is crazy. I got this same 12 month tier for free and the ads are substantial for shows.
Dassit? That's the post?

By far the worst. Almost nothing worthwhile.

My subjective take:
Netflix > disney+ > hulu > paramount+ > prime video > apple tv > peacock > amc > discovery

How many ads do they include in shows like The Office?
A lot less than if you were watching any average show on the Networks, I do like several of their NBCPeacock only shows and some of the shows that they don't share with HULU (My Favorite App) like B-Positive. We have HULU, Starz, Peacock, Prime, Disney+, Paramount, and AMC+. By using either promos like this one or for example, I went to cancel Starz when our promo ran out, they offered a year for $19.99. I average @ $7 mo. I have prime anyway and free Disney+. This is also a great gift to give to grads going to college.

What a crock! OP:. "New Peacock Premium customers will be able to sign up for just $1.99 per month or $19.99 for one year.   That's compared with the regular Peacock Premium pricing of $4.99/month (with ads) or $9.99/month (no ads)."

What does the term "Premium" mean then? Ads are included on the Premium version? Shameful to call it "Premium" then.

Also shameful to charge us for this kind of thing. Cord cutting/unbundling/streaming is such a scam and costing more in total than the old cable.

Back in the day, paying for cable (or satellite) meant NO ads!
Although premium is currently free for many, it isn't the FREE version.

Premium has adds, but it also has content that the FREE version does not have.

I have peacock ad-free currently because Amex reimburses me. It bills as $4.99 for the service with ads + $5 for the ad-free upgrade, so $9.99 total.

Will I be able to create a new login and pay $1.99 for ad-free, and then add the $5 ad free upgrade?

Are there ads when you watch the PL games? How does it work?

Do they show ads throughout the movie as well? Or is it one giant 5 minute ad before the movie and then no interruptions?
