Honestly, the changes they made in favor of their "TotalCrap" subscription model are probably what is going to be their downfall. Not sure who thought that was a smart decision to make, but I no longer have any interest in shopping there. 15 days is an absolutely joke of a return period.

That's an absolute lie. Not a single ad on their app it's very fast and easy to use. Motion detection works 100% of the time after you set it up properly. You are probably using a different brand.

Was hoping for this deal on the cam 2 pro that has 3000k vs. 2000k for this model but I don't really need the 360 cam coverage that model gives considering my more limited angle back deck location so think I'll pull the trigger on this one to replace my 1995 broken one

Does this only have local storage on an sd card if I wanted to use at a cabin with no internet? Or do you have to have Internet to set it up and for it to work correctly?

Wired but doesn't record 24/7, that's a bummer.

It does have a 10s pre-buffer to ensure complete events are recorded.

The best buy site does say it has a local storage area with microSD card no idea if internet is needed for initial setup though.

The camera is 2k with 130 degrees field of view at 15 frames per second.

World's better I would imagine. I haven't had floodlight by Wyze, but I've had their smaller camera only and was not impressed about any part of it. These have a nice picture. Very nice for the price, but I've had problems with other Eufy cameras in the past, still covered under warranty and doing fine since.
