Have this. Worked fine for 3 months then wifi and ethernet went dead. Tech support did a complete zap and reset and made it work, however, the rules for setting wifi passwords changed.

Looking for a cheap 2nd router. Does 25+ mean that up to 244 devices could be supported (theoretical max) or does this router enforce a max device limit?

With the stock firmware, I don't know, but if you were to install OpenWRT, there would not be a limit.
I think there might still be some issues with the ax 5ghz radio so some are just using these in ac mode. Check the openwrt forums for detail as it might have been resolved.
This is a great router for a great price. I would buy this except I'm happy to wait for wifi 6e to show up. If I wanted a router right now, this is the one to get.

Really is too bad that it only supports Wi-Fi 4 802.11n on the 2.4Ghz band; other than that, it's a great device and a good deal. I went with the WAX 202 a while back when it was $30; it has 802.11x on both 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands, and I am using these as dumb access points with a stand alone router.
