Ryobi is getting to the point it can stand up to daily use. As a mechanic nothing touches my Milwaukee collection but I'm invested in everything. At home this does More than enough

Not for me, but I grabbed this on the last (same) deal. Not a pro, already in Ryobi, and don't have any Milwaukee stuff. This is a nice impact. It is.... not small though.

Kind of hard to choose this over the coveted Milwaukee fuel m12 eve if it's 18v vs 12v.

Will it work as a drill also. And with bits?
No, it won't. This has a 1/2" socket adapter on it.

Really weird, it's coming up at $143 for me. I've never seen that happen before But no charger listed a that price. And the chain saw listed below is also coming up less for me than the post here. Saw looks handy (smaller/lighter than my 16" EGO}, but I'm already invested in EGO stuff and do NOT want yet another battery system to deal with.

Thanks for this! I was able to get another 10% off with military discount to make this $143. By far the best price I've seen.

HD in Annapolis, MD has a stack of Ryobi gear at the front (was there today).
I was tempted but already bought all the tools I need for my basement remodel project.

Just FYI, in case anyone is curious. I find their in-store/in-stock counts consistently off.

I've been tempted to buy an impact wrench, but with all the deals I've seen pop up within just the last 2 months, I can never tell which I should pull the trigger on. I'm not invested in any one brand and so far I have yet to need an impact wrench while working on my vehicles at home. An impact wrench is just something I'd like to have in my tool set should the need arise down the road.

Are you finishing your basement? Is it realistically possible for a DIYer to do that themselves?
