Which is why you've gotta go to the expensive theaters, where parents won't pay for their kids to see a movie. Keeps the riffraff out most of the time.

Theaters will be packed with $3 tickets. Would rather watch a movie at home.

If I find the answer I'll let you know. But if I recall right in 2020 there was no International Travel allowed during the lockdown. Trump instituted it here in January, Japans ban started April 3rd, 2020.
This film was done during the Pandemic and lockdowns in 2020.
I understand what happened during pandemic and this movie was made during pandemic mostly at Hollywood studio. I really don't think I will ever know the real location of the Tokyo station scene was. Maybe airport somewhere because it looked more like an airport than train station.

Interesting, you don't think it was a set they made in anyway? Idk, I never follow the ins/outs of movie making in general. Saw Beast today and IMHO, it was horrible, and lame, only good scene was the last 5-minute fight one.

It could be a set inside movie studio, I suppose, but I felt like it was some other real location/building that they made to look like Tokyo station instead of the set they made from scratch. I need to see that scene again to decide what it looks like, I guess. Can be CGI.

Somewhere in this or other thread person was chastised for frowning on in theatre patronage.
I think I will pass.
Enjoy 'National Cinema Day' it probably will not return.

"Sunday at the East Bay Mall in Emeryville, a city wedged between Oakland and Berkeley. There, the trouble started around 4:30 pm with a pack of 50 teens creating an unspecified disturbance at one of the businesses at the mall. Over the next two hours, some 250 more teenagers amassed near the AMC theater. ABC7 says they were drawn lured by National Cinema Day, a promotion that saw theater chains offering $4 tickets -- probably for the last time ever. One shopper said people were "pepper-spraying each other" and "throwing chairs," prompting her group to make a roundabout escape through a parking garage.
🚨 Emeryville Police: multiple fights broke out involving 300 juveniles near AMC Theater at Bay Street mall around 5 pm.

Teenager fires a gun after hundreds of teens swarmed Bay Street shopping center in Emeryville, California today 🚨
A woman was also stabbed in the neck while multiple fights broke out........"
