These are not brushless, but for a drill and an impact driver, with 2 two amp batteries, a charger, and a lifetime warranty, I'm not sure you can do any better - especially if you're only looking for a homeowner kit or you just want a spare.

Home Depot has apparently added this kit to it's subcompact bogo deal. If you add the circular saw as your free gift, then the price of this kit breaks down to $67.09.

Really great deal but home depot has been good so I feel guilty to use this hack. There might be a real reason to return an item but doing this trick shouldn't be one of them.

To each their own, but I don't personally feel required to go above and beyond to protect the profits of a large corporation. I wouldn't steal from them, but I have no problem with taking advantage of a deal.

Also, home depot has many years of experience with hacks. The only reason they still exist is because of price differentiation. I won't go through the whole thing now because it's already been debated in other threads, but the implication is that home depot wants these hacks to exist and to be enough of a pain that pretty much only cheapskates will use them. I think they're doing a pretty good job at tthreading that needle here.

FYI, the lifetime warranty on Rigid tools is extended to batteries that come with it too. So be sure you register for it (registration has to be done within X days after purchase

Great deal for the average homeowner/person. With the Lifetime Service Agreement, this would serve any average person well over their lifetime.

I think that person must have deleted there post cuz of how foolish it was. This is not return fraud. Return fraud is when you buy a lego, open it up and loot everything inside, replace with fake chinese bricks or even dirt if ur lazy, return box, get refund, and someone else gets screwed.

FYI This combo has been available for over a month at 89 bucks with a drill bit set or impact driver bit set included. If you value the bit set at 10 bucks this new deal is 12 bucks cheaper then the previous already great deal

Thanks for the deal. This combo and a circular saw for $150 out the door, CA state. If you don't need a circular saw then it is not a very good deal :-)

If you click on the circular saw product page of HD, then it will show the ads for buying this saw and get the combo free from the start..... I am not sure because the circular saw is not so popular...

I see what the OP meant by "hack" and the other people saying something about return fraud.... :-)

If HD allows it to be returned not part of combo then you're just returning….no quilt or quandaries about breaking some return policy.

Last time I checked I paid for a product and didn't walk out with it without paying….that's called shoplifting/stealing.
