Very polarizing device (mostly negative). Can confirm most of the feedback as well, using the P6 as a daily driver.
Most of it relates to the fingerprint reader and middle of the road front camera. Not to say it's a bad deal at $600ish because it's certainly not, just do some research.

I have the 6 Pro. No issues other than it seems to overheat easily when navigation is going with full brightness while charging. Cameras are fantastic. Maybe I'm lucky but my fingerprint reader is solid and way better than my S21 Ultra's.
Seems like a decent deal. The overheating issues along with the lottery of getting a bad modem/connection issues made me hold off for now. 128GB is pretty much the lowest level of storage you can have if you take a lot of photos/videos. I'm personally trying to hold out for the P7, but if you wanted a fairly high end phone immediately, this would do pretty well

I thought the metal body would make it less suspectable to overheating... This is a big let down. I'm on P4 5g, it overheats in my pocket whenever I'm outdoor too long..

Please stay far away from the pixel 6 pro. I upgraded from the pixel 3 and I regret it daily.
Agreed bought pixel 6 pro from google. "upgraded" from a galaxy s10+
within 10 minutes had a dropped call, noticeably lower signal strength. took my wife's s10+ and drove around with signal meters running. google search showed lots of people complaining about the modem in these phones, sure enough, they put a crappy old modem in them and the signal isn't good. if it can't be an actual phone, then I don't want it. 2 hours later, switched back to my s10+ and sent these back to google.
