I have one, I love it. Very loud, I use it as a shower radio and I can hear it just fine. Also great for travel, I connect to my phone as a white noise machine. Great deal at $13.

Back to the product: Is the "powering on" greeting really that loud/annoying as the reviews suggest?

Also, micro-USB (per specs) for those wondering.
