Let's raise a glass to everyone who's been a part of this amazing Mafia community over the past 20 years. As of August 2022, it's been two decades since the iconic Mafia series made its debut with Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven.
In celebration of Mafia's 20th anniversary, we have a very special announcement regarding the future of the franchise: work has begun on an all-new Mafia project.
We can't share anything more than that for now, but the announcement comes as part of an in-depth Mafia 20th Anniversary developer interview
with longtime members of the team. Be sure to give it a read for behind-the-scenes insights from Roman Hladík and Tomáš Hřebíček, who have worked on every game in the series starting with the original, and Alex Cox, who has been with the series since Mafia II. From the original Mafia to Mafia: Definitive Edition and beyond, it's been one hell of a ride.

I believe it's the original. The remaster was pretty good but too many changes from the original. Original is better if you're a true fan
Lol. What? Too many changes? 😂 You mean ray-tracing and insanely better overall graphics? I could not imagine replaying the original after playing the newer version. I am a true fan. I bought the original the day it came out and played each of the others after. I love Mafia. The Definitive Edition is better in every way.

Obviously the graphics are better, no one is talking about visuals

Original version. That still shouldn't detract from getting it or not unless the price really has you on the edge.
