The Costco one has an rtx3060 graphics card. This 3070 is far superior.

Why don't you just check finished auctions on eBay? Answers out there for the taking my friend lol

The rumor is this: 4060 ti = 3080. I already waited 2 years, and I don't mind wait again

Just curious what monitor ports are on mother board because maybe I'd sell the 3070 and use this for business... anyone know what I could sell the 3070 for?
Not sure what manufacturer makes the card that's in there but I would expect it to bring something around $400 or so. But that's if you move it pretty quickly because those prices are dropping fast.

I currently have a [email protected] w/2080Ti. I am tempted to upgrade one gen but I think at this point I'm just going to wait for AM5 and the 40xx series of cards to drop and see how much lower the prices go.

CPU would be a big upgrade but GPU would be a lateral move at best, probably a small downgrade.

I'm sitting on a 2080 and think the 3070 isn't enough of an upgrade for me to justify the ~$200 I'd need to spend to upgrade and flip.

Yeah, you are looking at $400-450 flipping that GPU. Even ignoring possible taxes you would pay, it is hard for me to imagine this is your best option if you just want these specs. you would easily end up spending $900-$1000 net on this machine and go through the hassle/risk of selling a GPU right now.

Another commenter mentioned this at a high level but if you want to know what something sells for, search for it on ebay (make sure exact spec match 3070 TIs for instance will be in most results), filter to sold items and look at a lot of items to get a rough min/max. Keep in mind you can't sell this GPU as new or at least can't compare to "New" listings because this isn't a GPU sealed in a box. Refurb is probably the correct option. You could include the invoice as a photo (censored of all important data) to show this is a part that you just bought and hasn't been used to mine for 2 years.

But all that being said, don't buy this to flip the GPU, this isn't the time and that would be a mediocre deal at best.

The spec is a little misleading on this. While it says in graphic section that it has
  • Integrated: Intel® UHD Graphics 770
  • Discrete: NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3070 (8 GB GDDR6 dedicated) with LHR
there is actually no video ports on the motherboard. The only ports you have are the 1 HDMI and 3 DP on the RTX.

Current gen, the 3060ti "came out" in December, about 2.5 months after the initial wave. Might be a bit longer this time as they try selling off old gen stock, but I'm sure it's less than a year.

The 3060 actually released a few months after the 3060ti.

That's the spirit. They made us wait after miners stocked up, might as well make them wait too.
