read one or two peoples stores had them knocked to 150, but its 250 at all my local stores. I read price drops typically happen first 5 days into month, so if it drops, it'll be possible this week
im very happy with the 14.1 though seems solid, touchpad is nice enough, speakers absolutely suk balls. but its snappy, upgraded to new windows, and removed bloatware, its excellent.

Thank you for choosing Gateway."
It's them actually adjusting their prices when they should
Ie. Walmart says clearance this item out, but if employees never check the prices with price checker tool, that store will never clearance it
Which I assume some Walmarts don't need too more affluent areas where produce moves regardless
also, ive also scored as well, iPad keyboard thingy from apple, it was on sale for like 150, brickseek, upon scanning at register, it was like 100. when it was normally like 250 or something, its been awhile. but was a benefitted opportunity.
random, funny though. my gf works at sam club, and next door is Walmart, but privately owned I guess. sams club lent heavy machinery etc after sams club remodeled for Walmart to borrow/rent for remodeling after and such. brb. 80,000 dollar bill later after remodeling , Walmart told sams club pound sand, aint paying a dollar.
they are currently in like tort battle now. stingy pricks
Thanks. Picked up a blue one at that price, saved me a trip to WM to get a laptop with half the memory and SSD capacity, and shaved a few bucks off as well. Slick.

The prices drop on their own. I used to see prices drop on Brickseek after midnight sometimes, when there's definitely no one there doing manual price drops, even if they could. Department managers are only there in the day and they're the ones scanning products.
Plus, whatever the app shows you when you scan the UPC is the real price in that store, clearance or not, and it's completely irrelevant if an employee has scanned that item. I repeat, the prices drop on their own.

ie. why would his store be full price and mines half off. then say we dont price match. do some stores stay rogue?

Damnit I don't need it, no one else needs one but this is a damn good deal!

Local store has the authority within certain range and rule policy by the company to adjust price. That's why sometimes you will see manager's special. All been approved by the higher up.
Dude, that's literally, word-for-word, what I was saying last night as I went to bed, planning my trip to WM. Then again this morning when I changed my mind and decided to look at the upgraded model from eBay, and AGAIN as I was pressing "Buy".
I don't need it. But... the price is just too good to pass up.
Apparently I can resist everything except temptation. Lol
