The only difference was this footnote: Actual spindle motor rotational speed for this model is 7200 RPM; although ID Device may report 5400 to reflect previous Performance Class designation.
It has 1,000,000 hours MTBF, a 3 year warranty and only rated for 180TB/year.
The Seagate ST14000NM001G 14TB drive has a 2,500,000 hours MTBF, a 5 year warranty and rated for 550TB/year. It has been on sale for $200 recently but is currently ~$230 at most etailers. I would pay an extra $20 to have a much better drive.

With labels I think they historically had one NAS/red model that was SMR, got tons of flak for it, and never moved into that confusing area again
