For anyone else thinking along these lines, I'd be careful trying to do that with Direct Tools. During one of their last sales they had a $20 drill that was the main thing I wanted, and I added a couple of other things to help offset the shipping and make it worth it. Without any notice they canceled the drill and just sent the other 2 items, and of course still charged the full shipping amount. I've seen at least a couple of other people mention similar experiences with them as well.

So many peeps get them mixed up. That ebay store is a real crapshoot of awful and acceptable items.

I wish they had the bucket fan available to purchase. Living in the desert stinks and feel this would help a lot. I don't have a store local available.

$68 for the 3/8" Brushless Compact Impact Wrench plus the shipping charge and wait doesn't seem worth it. I could stack some area lights for camping but I could get those any other sale. Camping season is pretty much over for me.

So of these two options at HD, which would you get?

$100 for the impact + 2 x 4ah batteries + HD shipping (store or home)

vs....

$120 for the impact + 2 x 1.5ah HP battery + HD shipping (store to home)

Really enjoyed D T O!! Prices were great and shipping was sometimes free. I can not justify a $15 fee to ship a $14 drill or a $15 charge to ship a $7 bit set.
Everyone is just getting so greedy!!!!
