What is this recent nonsense tax change? The tax seems to apply before coupon:

Subtotal (1 item) $299.99
Shipping Free
Tax, we are required by law to collect sales tax and applicable fees for certain tax authorities. $32.25
Gift cards, coupons -$45.00
Order total $287.24

Ebay has gone downhill since they started charging taxes at all.

It seems like a "regular" sale price for 1000xm5 model offered by secondipity. One can pay with paypal/discover cc to receive 5% cash back.

For back to the future fans like me, 1000xm4 was on sale for $130.

Are these much better than xm4. I saw they had those for 180 but sold out so I just got xm5. Hopefully these are really good.

I believe 1000xm4 still available both on eBay and directly from secondipity for $180

Can you disable the ANC on these entirely to reduce pressure/lack of situational awareness during voice calls? The JBL does not have a ANC off button like the Bose does.
