Their coffee sucks in general, I get the bubbly sparkling water in summer and a hot tea in winter

Doesn't work for me. I think if you've had a discount before, it makes you not eligible for this.

Yup, free drink no real catch. Self-serve coffee.
At one point my Panera removed all cups since people were stealing. But they eventually put the cups back.

Untrue, coffee is just like most things. The more you pay the better experience you'll have.

Any kind of freshly ground beans will make a decent cup, but quality does matter.
