While I agree, I don't like the semi matte screen finish on the 55" and 65" A80J. I prefer the glossy screen for better color reproduction and better contrast. I wish I could sell my 65" A80J locally, and get the 77" A80J or A90J. The A90J is still expensive.

Yep. I got one from Costco. Had to call couple of friends. So far used it for couple days and it's nice. Originally wanted LG G2/C2 but for half the price and sony hell yeah!

Which size do you have? The 77" A80J has the EVO panel along with the entire A90J series. The 55" and 65" have the semi matte finish. It's only really good for diffusing light in bright living rooms etc. I previously had the A8H 65", and Sony replaced it with the A80J 65" under warranty. They didn't have the A8H in stock. I noticed the difference right away. I should've sold it, but my wife loves it.

Does anyone know if Amazon will immediately charge it on credit cards for future delivery? I have mine scheduled for mid-October and am hoping that Amazon will not charge or ship it until closer to the date.

I know with Costco appliance purchases, they will ship it much sooner than the scheduled delivery date - so they'll charge the credit card shortly after shipment and have the item sitting with the shipper for about a month.

Amazon will charge your card a day or two before delivery when the TV shows as shipped in their system.
