the ethereum merge will happen between 10 and 20 September 2022. at least wait unit that time.
the fact is not many gamer want to spend 1K on a graphic card, certainly not enough to keep the entire high end market afloat at that price. one only have to take a look at the steam HW survey to find out that most popular GPU is .... GTX 1060, followed by 1650, followed by 2060, followed by 1050TI, and followed by 3060 LAPTOP. those are all 200 dollar cards. it is just bit hard to justify spending 1k on a part for entertainment purpose for average consumer.
the rise in price in the past has a lot more to do with demand rather than supply, granted a lot of company buying Nvidai graphic card as AI training accelerators, and therefore money is no object, but i think more than that, is the miners, and i anticipate the demand will drop quite a bit in the next two weeks.
Definitely waiting to inflict some pain on these bastard companies who ripped off their core and passionate customers who kept them in business all these years
Who is laughing now nvidia ?

The Asrock one has been $700 or less if you included the MIR that newegg had) for a month or more now. this needs to at least match it for me to be interested. We know ASUS is hurting with warehouse inv.

Why do you guys prefer this over Nvidia? I heard AMD graphics cards are horrible, have no ray tracing, are not as reliable and even crash in some games.
AMD has even been caught using dishonest marketing practices to boost sales and garner support, such as selecting games that would perform better with their graphics cards and not selecting maximum in-game settings.
you heard it wrong. I have no problem whatsoever with my Vega 7 integrated onboard graphics on my Ryzen 5 5600G

Probably to take full advantage of freesync pro and freesync premium. The Nvidia cards can only do regular freesync and adaptive sync outside of gsync.. Gsync monitors generally have a higher cost over their freesync counterparts. Plus many people have AMD CPU's. It's only natural to pair it up with an AMD GPU. 😀. I guess theoretically it should be more stable/compatible even though it's not really the case lol

The reason that the GTX 1060 was the most popular is that it is been out since 2016 and people did not want to spend all their money to replace their GPU for the newest. If it still works and serves them well in most games, they would not upgrade.
GTX 3060 has only been out since 2021...

I also have 10% off $1000 FC employee discount to use if I could manage to throw it in my cart fast enough when Amazon gets stock this fall/winter.
