Screen isn't anything special either, there are many options under 500 that actually offer 120hz.
Lastly, video editing with an internal graphics card from an I5-8520U(Emphasis on the U) is just torture. In that regard, it is just not very capable at all.
The main selling point of Latitude is the durability of the build, not necessarily the quality. It is built like a tank and the battery is significantly larger than other laptops this size, but at the cost of it being very bulky and heavy.

Sit down and think about that? Is that like what 10 burritos at Chipotle? This price is insanely cheap.

You would be crazy to not buy one.
Two Problems. Supposedly history of battery exploding. I will say that leaving them plugged in while using this baby gets hot. I would recharge while not using.
The other problem is one of them has a keyboard problems Mainly the numbers at top sometime don't register unless really firmly depress them (hammer) to register.
Really irritating for log in with a pin.
I have an Asus 15inch laptop with nearly the same specs. 8G of RAM, identical CPU, 1080p screen. As a laptop, it is really good for anything I do. That includes normal end-user junk, but also running a few VMs/Containers and creating server-side webapps.
I don't use MS-Windows, so perhaps my OS is just so much more efficient that a monster CPU isn't needed? IDK. Haven't seen MSFT stuff since Win7.
The 13.3 screen at 1080p is something I miss from a prior laptop. 15 in is just too large for my needs, but going to 768p means losing 200+ px of resolution, which I cannot have.
When I first got my Asus (also a used model), the battery life was over 8 hrs.
If this was a 10th-gen for $350 with all the other specs, I'd have already bought it - before posting here. The 10th-gen CPUs were a big jump in capability.
BTW, my desktops all run Ryzens with around 20K passmarks, so a 56t00 passmark system really isn't much different in real world uses for 95% of people.
Don't get a laptop without a real GPU if you want to do video editing, but for office and watching netflix, this is 100% fine.
The main reason I'd want a Dell is to get their better keyboards. All other brands seem to have shitty keyboards that wear our far too fast.
I have bought two laptopsover the years from them and am very satisfied. E6440 and 5570. The 5570 is my primary work computer and multi tasks well for an old machine. Will buy another newer model next year.
