Which is best for getting stump/old roots in ground?

Drill holes, fill with root killer, then stump remover, then burn them out with kerosene! Easy peasy.

Can I use this to cut my cabinet?
A jigsaw works better for a cleaner cut.

It is designed to cut fast not even.

It is great for cutting off boards with nails in them, with the correct blade, like for reconstruction. For cutting into an existing wall to remodel. It works great for cutting tree branches as well, again with the correct blade. You can even cut down a tree.

These are handy. Recently had to use one to cut through corroded bolts on my toilet to replace it.

I've also used one to cut up and remove two oversized couches from my basement. Cut into small pieces and put them in the trash, voila! Couches gone.

Had one. The blade holder snapped off after about 5 jobs rendering the item useless.

That seems like a common problem based on the Home Depot reviews. I am choosing to pass on this one. My old blue Ryobi saw is still kicking.

Even though the 'easy blade change lever' or whatever they call it on this model breaks quickly it doesn't render the tool useless at all you just have to kinda manually release it, it's hard to explain but it's easily workable even with it broke. I honestly forget it's even "broke" because I'm so used to it at this point, it's really not a problem at all. I've had mine for years. I use it at least once a week. I highly recommend Diablo blades btw.

Decent for cutting boxes?
Actually, they do. Recently bought a water heater which had triple layered box. Was trying to cut the box to recycle with a box cutter. Got no where, then I used this and was done in 2 min. Unfortunately the blade hit the concrete and is now bent

This thing is perfect for cutting down small trees. I was easily able to reclaim my back yard with it. Just get some long blades. Plenty of power with a 4amp battery.

Great thing about steel is you can bend it back.

I use this thing for yardwork. Works great for that. I can't imagine using it for daily construction workers, doesn't seem strong enough.

Is there a particular blade that you would recommend for yardwork?

Thanks

From what I've read, pick up the Diablo blades... specifically this one:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/DIABL.../301697673

$11.97 for one or $31.97 for three at Home Depot. Amazon is OOS on the single blade, but they have the three pack for cheaper at $27.78:
