I started getting paranoid about "garage ready" as my current chest freezer (Hisense unit bought in 2016) makes zero mention of it in any documentation inc. Looking on the web.
The limited mentions of the term in the web in general lead me to suspect if it's even a big deal... No standardization on any spec sheets about operating temp range either.
And for what it's worth, my "not" garage-ready freezer has been in the garage b/t 5 degrees F and 110 degrees F without incident.
I've had this for 3+ years in my garage and it's still working

fedex dropped mine off Saturday. Of course, they left it upside down. Duma$$e$. Anyway, it actually arrived with no physical damage. Gonna plug it in later today and see if it actually works. It is lighter than I thought it wld be but seems well built for a cheap chinese freezer.
Has anyone tried this freezer? How many months does it last?
There is another thread on it here but long-term reviews are somewhat limited. The style makes it look very similar to other brands of freezers. I'm assuming there's one manufacturer and they just slap different badges on it.
