Decent deal but it's been better. I got it for $82 in August at HD including 5.0 battery.

I was going to say it must have been a great deal because it sold out then I realize this was posted 3 days ago. I also got in on the August deal so this is really bad deal with no battery and $62 more. I know we don't have a time machine...but looks like HD and quite a number of big box stores are dumping inventory.

This is the 6 inch grinder with 3 second brake. The one in August was different no?

I did the August deal and was glad to keep the extra XC5.0 battery. This version 2980-20, tool only price, at Home Depot is $50 more than the 2880-20 from the August deal. This 2980-20 is a braking model.

Thanks for pointing out this has breaking feature. I think my wired version has the breaking feature.

This seems like a good deal. I think people are missing the 6'' capacity, 13amp, and speed brake specs. My only concern is if this model (2980-20) is significantly larger in size than the 2880-20 that hits around $100 on these hack deals.
