Not sure why you are "lol"'ing him… but I believe the $458 he referenced was the regular price of both the grinder and the drill… which after getting the drill for free you get both for $279. Alternatively… if you choose to return it and hack the deal you get the price you gave for just the Grinder alone.

Eta: I ordered the deal (with the drill, as it listed it as available again).. but later in the night I got an email apologizing and saying the drill is back ordered and they may cancel it. I will be disappointed.. because the prorated price was about $110… which is a good price for that drill.. and it includes an SDS drill bit set as well.
