I got in a fight on the target Reddit page for not tipping pickup orders. I told them there is no spot to add tip and they told me I need to slip the workers money. I explained that the app tells me to show the number in the window and it already tells them to put in the trunk and I never talk to them and they found that unacceptable behavior. I guess your suppose to tip when you do parking lot pick up orders???
Nah. I tip only large orders for curbside. Slip em 3-5 bux. For a couple 8 pax it's ridiculous to tip.

I've tried tipping multiple times in the past and it was always refused so I just stopped offering. I'm sure some would be willing to accept but based on my past experience I'm guessing they aren't supposed to accept tips.

My daughter worked at Target drive up/pick up through high school. Tipping is not expected but some people do and obviously it is appreciated. Definitely not mandatory. If you are the person who drives up for 11 bags of water softener salt on a 30 below day because you know how much it sucks to do it yourself tip the person who did that shippy job for you. If you drive up for one box of cereal because it's pouring down rain and you don't want to get soaked to the core but don't care if the runner does, tip a buck. I tip because it's my preference and an easy way to show appreciation for what people do for me.

I think costco had La Croix 24pk for $5.49 after instant discount
I used to drink LaCroix all the time then started drinking Voss sparkling water and now LaCroix tastes horrid and metallic to me. Voss lime mint, lemon cucumber, lemongrass tangerine, and other flavors tasted so much better and then Voss went from glass bottles to aluminum cans and now they're not much better than LaCroix. Still better, just not like before.

FWIW, the Perrier flavored sparkling water is great if you like flavor more than CO2.
Yes, it is more expensive than the others mentioned here, but it might be worth a try one time.
Grapefruit, Pineapple and Lime are all decent.

I've tried tipping before and they wont take it. During covid, the app literally told you to keep your windows up. When you do a delivery you can tip. Why would Target not allow you to tip on the app for a pickup?

I use to go to Walmart for pick up orders, they had inside a pickup area with storage lockers. They shut all that down after covid and your only option now is outside pickup at my location. Some times when I am in the store, an item will be cheaper on the app than in the store and i literally have to order for pick up, to get the cheaper price. They wont price match. There is no way I can afford to tip them for every single thing anymore.

I use to fix peoples computers on the side, I would some times deliver to their houses. I would get calls all weekend on "my printer is not there anymore" etc. They never gave me a cent for this, nor did I get a tip, and I made a hefty $25 on 3 hours of work. Not worth it in the end.

Also dont Target employees make $15 an hour at the minimum now? My kids make $9 and $12 at a stressful grocery store in my city, get no tips and not allowed to take a cent. My oldest gets tasked to some times drive groceries to someones house even, doesnt get a cent for this.

I know how this goes. Your issue was only charging $8.33/hour. Set a price that low and it's sure to be swarmed by cheapskates who expect everything for nothing ...and with perpetual "lifetime" service followups 24/7 included Rolleyes Bump your price high enough to avoid those types, but really you're just setting the value of your own time to your own self.

Also vital is sticking to one's billing, even for something simple or some tangential followup request by a customer. It's all too easy for techies to shrug and take on extra requests as if it was their fault and not the customer's, or was never part of the initial service to begin with, or by merely reasoning "Eh I guess it's not too much trouble, whatever."

If you let them, customers will pin any and all future computer issues of theirs as your responsibility going forward. Give a mouse a cookie...

Props to you for facilitating your kids working, and props to your kids for doing it, especially non-easy service industry jobs, and especially amidst today's overly entitled Karen-prone society. They'll have good heads on their shoulders in life, no doubt.

La Croix has the weakest flavor of all the brands. Even the Kroger store brand is better. Bubly, Waterloo, Polar, Kroger are all better.
This is why I like La Croix.

Will throw it out there as YMMV but in store at my local target there were a couple of packs with a $1 of 3 packs coupon that stacked with everything. Walked out with 6 packs for $9.
