At this point, might as well wait for next gen cards. Nvidia and amd made their beds, and decided they wanted the miners in it rather than their gamers, which is what made them.

Can verify. Drops it down to $990 and then gets $45 in rewards if standard credit. I'd love this but I already have a 3080 and can't justify that upgrade. For anyone else this price is crazy compared to the last two years.

Nvidia will probably have a lot more stock/wafer build up now that China can't buy Nvidia's high end GPU anymore

This may not be in the ban list, should be server GPU like A100 etc. 3090ti is consumer grade.

This is crazy. They finally dropped the price on the 3080ti too. The prices might drop even further, especially during this recession. People aren't wanting to spend and Nvidia and/or AMD will have no choice but to drastically reduce prices or investors will lose out big time, moreso than they have. They are reaping for what they did during the peak of covid.

The ban only affects Nvidia A100 and H100 for now.

They still not losing money with all the money they made jacking up the prices and selling what seems to be more than 5x then profit of manufacture

But their stock will drop. If proof of stake finally happens, nvidia and/or AMD won't be able to get away with those ridiculous prices. Even with the 4000 series and the way the economy is going.

No delivery available for the item. Why has BestBuy stopped shipping its NVIDIA graphics cards but they will ship AMD graphics cards this has been going on over a year now ?

They ship to store for pickup. It's a liability sending a near 1000 gpu for shipping.

Don't buy 4000 series, just wait and the prices will drop in half. Performance will be 10-20% compared to 3000, not 50% as they said.

I think it'll be between 35%-60% depending on what tier you buy. There will also be more of a jump up between x80 to x90 than the 3000 generation.
