Alas, I think most of us are over $1100 30-series cards…
It just depends how long we're going to wait for 40 series, plus nobody knows if we'll be able to get them when they drop. For anyone currently running 3060 or similar from AMD, I think $1100 is fair and should be good for the next couple of years at least. Picking mine up on Tuesday

I really would advise against dropping $1100 + tax for 2-year-old architecture. I know the 3090 Ti hasn't been around long, but based on benchmarks it's just a tiny desperation upgrade over the 3090.

Better cooling, quieter, cheaper, comes with Spider-Man.
Eh I prefer the looks of the Founders Edition, it's actually a piece of art imho. Also Read some comments on the MSI cooling is not as efficient. The Founders was praised for the cooling and fan design.

As far as spider man, could care less lol

evga for the warranty but i have owned both card the evga 3090 ti ftw3 and the msi suprim x 3090 ti. The Msi is much better with cooling fan noise. i actually kept the msi suprim X first for the price cause i got it for $880 and second is inaudiable and never goes above 60c after undervolt. the Evga was great, much better than my FE with fan noise and cooling but not as good as the MSI
I'm hedging my bets at this point. Just bought a Gigabyte 3080 12gb Used card on Amazon for $580. Figure I'm in the return window still if the prices crash and if Nvidia finds a way to screw the consumer some more, six bills is a price I likely won't hate myself for. Don't see the 3080's dropping below $500 for a real long time based on my understanding of corporate greed. Inventory could prove me wrong of course. Good luck everyone!
