This super concentrated formulation makes me think of Method, whose pump dispenser laundry detergent is similarly built around a highly concentrated detergent (Method is around 0.8oz per wash, Amazon Basics seems to be 0.75oz per wash, whereas more typical options in the detergent aisle are around 1.5-2oz per wash), This can create some nice efficiencies for storage in the laundry room. At the very least, I could avoid for longer periods (if not altogether) my usual two-bottle system wherein I transfer detergent from the warehouse store package (since they inevitably leak in their dispensing position) to a smaller container kept near the washer. A nice hack, but also one extra step I'd love to skip more often.
I was disappointed that Solimo (nor the rebranded Amazon Basics) have yet to get on the radar for testing by Consumer Reports. Their last rankings suggest in the free & clear category that Persil was at the top but Kirkland still held onto the Best Buy title.
