I went through the deals section in the app. Sort by tech and you'll see Western Digital getting 12% cash back.

Does being refurbished make it run better?

For a PS5 is there a noticeable difference between a sn850 and sn770? I bought the 770 for $80 and a heat sink for $5. I'm guessing in games you won't notice much of anything once the SSD meets the requirements for the PS5.

The 850X 2TB without heatsink is $10 more. Coupon works too. For $10 more, may as well go for the newer drive, eh?

Or pay $7 less ($93) and go for Kingston KC3000 instead? 850 is a little better but not much better.

I was eyeing this one last night: https://slickdeals.net/f/16016092-2tb-kingston-kc3000-3d-tlc-nand-pcie-4-0-nvme-m-2-solid-state-drive-183-99-at-kingston-com

Kingston is okay but I feel Western Digital is the bigger name. Samsung is top dog IMO but no deal out there right now and I'm not about to get a Geek Squad refurb haha! Seems risky. Grabbing the WD because I'll be using it right away.

If SSDs keep dropping, so be it. Better deals for all!

I was just about to check out two of the 2TB 850 and then WD made that same offer onscreen to upgrade to 850X for just ten bucks more each. Sure thing! So now each stick is $207.49 before taxes, and then 12% will come back via PayPal. My Discover cash back is already maxed out, but there's another 5% cash back possible pointing your PayPal there. Sweet deal at this time I'd say. There's a good chance it might get even better around Black Friday, and if so I'll gladly get more.

Is the heatsink attached to the M.2 or is it optional to put it in? Thinking about getting this for a laptop
