Cool stuff but not slick enough for me. Half it again and I'm in.
from the dice set, "Material: Heavy Metal".
I ...have questions.
Meh. Support your local comic/games shoppe - should be about the same there

If this is WOTC official merchandise its probably crap quality, they have no QA on their products, look into all the printing defects their books (their main product) have.

$16 for a more than full set of dice is decent though, usually sets are around this price

The dice tower is exclusive to Gamestop, as is, I believe, the rest of the merchandise. They are produced by Geeknet, which is a subsidiary of Gamestop.

Heavy Metal and Dungeon & Dragons go hand in hand, right? Rock

Seriously, that price for the dice tower is crazy. I paid a couple bucks online for an awesome 3ds print file. Paid someone local for a high quality print, then someone at the local gameshop to paint it (one of the Warhammer players). Thing came out nicer than what they have and for about half the cost of the sale price.

Made of pure Loc-Nar (aka cadmium).

FWIW, I went to GameStop and the in-store price was lower than this bc they have 25% off their collectibles right now. The mind flayer goblet, for example, rang up at $13.99.

Ordered a couple things online and picked up in store. The dice are — in fact — pretty heavy being made of metal. Feel very satisfying to roll.

I meant for equivalent... This stuff specifically is middling quality at best anyway.

*Doubt.* You're saying you paid 3 different people a total of $20 for all that work? Whoever printed that did it as a favor clearly, most people running a farm will charge at least $4-7 per print hour and there's no way a full dice tower is getting printed in less than 2 hours. (Yes, I 3D print and am pursuing it as a business.) Your entire concept here relies on having access to nearly free hobbyist labor and I still find it hard to believe that you paid for the STL, print, and paint for what you claim.
