I can't keep up with the 50 different Q series models in house and out of house anymore. What is this even equivalent to on the Samsung site?

wait the rears are not wireless? where do you see this. I just ordered these and that would be a deal breaker

EDIT: i see what you mean. They are wireless in a sense that you need to connect the rear speakers to a wireless module that you plug in near the rear speakers. that module then connects to the soundbar wirelessly. You scared me for a second, I thought you meant the rear speakers are wired and must be wired to the soundbar. I am ok now with this solution

So couple of things. I have purchased this and have it installed. This unit does not have atmos. the surround speakers are wireless in the sense that they have to connect with a wireless bridge for power and connectivity.

I need to replace my current one where the subwoofer no longer wirelessly connects to the sound bar. not in a rush. should i hold out until black friday or is this a pretty good one?

except it doesnt.. samsung following this thread and removed it? Costco says supports atmos but not samsung site. Does not support eARC either which is an atmos requirement.

I bought a pair of these speakers today. They're going back to the store tomorrow. The sub-woofer didn't work properly. It came paired already, but the sound was very faint, so I figured I'd try re-pairing it, but the instructions wouldn't work. That aside the 2 satellite speakers aren't very loud, even with the center speaker turned all the way down and the rear speakers turned all the way up, they could barely be heard. Using surround sound test video on YouTube, even when only the back channel should be making noise, these speakers barely make any sound at all, and for some reason the center channel continues blasting out sound. Waste of money. I highly doubt this is a "$300+" speaker set as advertised.

I ordered open box Samsung Q700a from Amazon on 9-1 and still have not received it. They refunded my card today for $42 more than I originally paid, and the rep said if the soundbar happens to still get delivered to just keep it. Deals don't get any slicker than that, at minimum I made $42 cash, but possibly also got free soundbar. Has that always been their policy?
