my experience with e-sim is not good. consistently got lower speeds than the physical ones.
It's a subscriber identification module, meaning a unique number to identify you. No data passes through the SIM card or e-sim.
Apple website gives me $720 instant credit and i pay the difference.
Tmobile website says i could get a max of $500 trade in credit.
Hands down Apple's offer > T-mobile right?

I guess now I understand why Apple eliminated physical SIM tray. It will give carrier more control over their customers!

It would be nightmare now when travelling overseas - no more sim swapping on unlocked phones.
