Z13 is a pretty nice laptop, though I agree that it's a pretty odd duck as far as Thinkpads go

Just bought a new laptop and even Microsoft edge seems to push my RAM to 80% of the 16gb it came with. How do people utilize 8gb with the RAM hungry browsers?

Was considering one of these as a replacement for an old X220, but discovered that they dropped the SD card slot on these newer models. Looks like the x270 or T480 were the last to come with the full size SD slot. Guess I'll be looking for a good condition used machine instead.

Wait, so let me get this straight. I posted the exact same deal for way less ($607) and it hardly got any response.
No one should pay the current amount for this laptop.

Former x220 user here. Your machine has nothing in common with the newer ones...Lenovo giveth and taketh away. You lose alot of uogradability with storage, memory, even the wifi cards and docking stations changed (or just disappeared). But the biggest change is the keyboard.

However, the screens got MUCH better over the years. Even the ips screen on my x220 tablet was dim compared to other laptops.

I can confirm that my current thinkpad (p15, 2020 vintage) has a full size SD card slot.

It's such a shame that so many laptops are sold with 8GB soldered un-upgradable RAM. They're destined to quickly become e-waste, tossed in some landfill somewhere.

Pity.
