JBL Flip's are the most copycat fraud speakers out.
most of the time sales are on crap battery replicas
and amazon can't be bothered to tell the difference.
Depending on which series you have (charge 4 vs. Flip 5 vs. Charge 5 vs. Flip 4) the speaker either will or will NOT pair.
Buyer should do research first.
Woot! Used to be a great service back before the Amazon acquisition. Now, I feel like it is unreliable and peddles Amazon rejects, returns, and counterfeit products to the point that I have a very low opinion of the service.
Some people post very positive experience with Woot! which, as a consumer, I love to hear. I have just had enough negative experiences and seen other negative feedback for the service to dissuade me from using them until something changes for the better.

1) you got two speakers for $100 each a few years ago but their current price is $115 each on Amazon
2) you gave zero insight into how many speakers you have owned so your claim that they are the best you have owned means nothing without context to support it
3) the JBL Flip 5 featured here has JBL's "partyboost" function that allows multiple speakers with this function to sync together.
All of that being said, I still feel like this is overpriced for a 20W Bluetooth speaker. Don't get me wrong, it is a good 20W Bluetooth speaker. I just don't feel like it is a $70 good speaker. Just my opinion.
If you just want premium sound and don't want the ruggedized form factor, don't be enticed by the JBL logo on this speaker. Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 4 speakers frequently go in sale for $100 and would blow this thing out of the water.
If the ruggedized form factor is a buying point but you don't need the absolute best sound, there are many off-brand speakers in this same form factor on Amazon that have thousands of highly rated reviews and they regularly go on sale for half this price and also stereo pair which would, once again, beat this deal. Most people wouldn't even be able to tell a difference in sound unless comparing the other brands side by side with the JBL playing the same music

Only plus side is the returns were easy.
I've had the Charge 2, Charge 3, Flip 3 and Flip 4 and really liked them all. I gave the charge 2 and 3 to my parents and the flip 3 has been a great alexa speaker. It will stay on indefinitely when left on a charger and connected to alexa.
I've been looking for a flip 5 just to have a usb-c bluetooth speaker to get rid of my last micro usb device (Flip 4) but I'm just not a fan of red =(.
