My offer was for 10% discount on points for HD gift cards. In the past it was always a 20% discount (though only for the digital gift cards).

Same here.

When logging in, navigating to the Rewards section, there's a "banner" at the top of the subsection that mentions Rewards Deals - for me only BB comes up, 10% less points needed for any level GC.

I haven't been targeted in years. I think they're mad that I cashed in 35k points years ago for $500 and paid for the majority of my Weber grill. Let it go, AMEX/HD!

This deal doesn't work for me. Amex shows 100 offers in my acct, but HD is not there.

Eh, depends on your needs. MR are better for travel to maximize value, and that's what I've been using them for in recent years. I used them twice for 3 RT tickets to Europe each time (DUB and CDG) which cost a grand total of $1100 -- $183 RT ticket to Europe isn't bad at all. For the grill, it wasn't a horrible redemption, I had a slew of points, and it suited my needs for the moment.

I'll redeem points when I need them rather than have them sitting around for years waiting for the "perfect" choice. I don't need my AMEX points for travel at the moment because I'm sitting on 250k in Avios.

It's not in the Offers section -- look for "Redeem for gift cards".
